  • To improve the service and analyze usage (legitimate interest).
  • To send transactional emails about your account or subscription (contract performance).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our merchant of record, for payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Service providers — hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, and AI providers that generate audio and text on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting where necessary.
  • Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

These providers are bound by data-processing agreements and may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or remain inactive for 12 months, we will delete or anonymize your data, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email info@thevisionboardguide.com. We respond within one month.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any breach that materially affects them as required by law.

8. Children

Vision is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
